Background: Sharon
is the sixteen-year old sister of Maureen Atieno. Like
Maureen, Sharon was orphaned when both her parents
died. She went, along with Maureen, Irene and Omandi,
to live with the paternal grandparents. When the grandfather
died, the grandmother was no longer able to care for
the children. In 2001 they were admitted into the
Home. Sharon is determined to work hard in school in
order to achieve her goal of becoming a lawyer.
Education: She is currently in
the 9th grade at Gikumene Girl's School.
Hobbies: Sharon enjoys swimming
and basketball. She would one day like to practice
law.
