Background: Sixteen-year old Samuel
is the brother of Alice Mary Karimi who is also resident
in the Home. Because their parents were too poor to
care for them, both children took to the streets. When
they eventually made their way to the Home’s Outreach Program where they received food, an opportunity to shower and some informal education, they were invited to join the Home which they did in 1999. Samuel is a determined child who never tires of telling anyone who will listen, that he intends to be a military commander one day.
Education: He is currently in the 9th grade at Nkuene Boy's School.
Hobbies: Samuel likes most to be running and
playing rugby.
