Background: Rajab
is the fourteen-year-old brother of Joseph Murithi who
is also a resident of the Home. Until his admission
to the Home, he lived with his grandparents, both
of whom were too old and ill to care for the children.
Rajab was born in a slum of Nairobi, but came to
live with his grandparents following the death of
his parents. Both Rajab and Joseph have been living
in the streets for sometime, since the grandparents
are unable to provide for them. They showed up at
the Home’s Outreach Program where they received food, an opportunity to bathe and some informal education. They were invited to join the Home in 2002.
Education: Rajab is currently in
the 8th grade at Mwithumwiru Primary School.
Hobbies: Rajab
enjoys football and reading. He would one day like
to be a bank manager.
We are pleased to announce that
Rajab Murangiri has been sponsored. |
