Background: Nineten-year
old Patrick lived with his mother in a slum 200 kilometers
from Meru Town. Because his mother was unable to
feed and care for him, Patrick left home and eventually
made his way to Meru. There he came in contact with
the Home’s Outreach Program where he was given food, an opportunity to shower and some informal education. He was invited to join the home in 2001.
Education: He is currently in the 10th grade at Abothuguchi Boy's School.
Hobbies: His hobbies include playing
soccer, watching TV and reading.
