Background: Maureen is a lovely twenty-one-year-old young woman from Western Kenya. When
her parents died, she and her siblings, Sharon, Irene
and Omandi were taken to live with their paternal grandparents.
When the grandfather died in 2000, the grandmother
was unable to provide for them. They were subsequently
admitted into the Home. Maureen is very bright and
performed well in secondary school.
Education: She is currently a sophomore in college. She plans to go on to nursing school, eventually joining the armed forces or working abroad.
