Background: Twelve-year old Joseph
has no idea who his parents were. According to his
grandmother, he somehow migrated to her from a slum
in Nairobi where both parents died when he was just
a toddler. The grandmother says the parents died of
HIV/AIDS. He lived on the streets in Meru, but at times
would go to visit his grandmother. He has a brother,
Rajab Murangiri, who is also living in the Home.
Education: Joseph is currently in the 6th grade at Mwithumwiru Primary School.
Hobbies: Joseph likes reading and football. He thinks he would one day like to be a doctor.
