Background: Joel is 16 years old. He is originally from Tigania
and can only recall that they moved from that place
to Meru town when he was a small boy. He has a
brother Mark Mwenda who is also in the Home.
According to Joel, his father was a polygamist
who separated with their mother. After the separation
their mother moved them to Meru town and was unable
to take care of them. They ended up on the streets.
He was admitted to the home in 1999.
Education: He is currently in 9th grade at Kaaga Boy's School. He started school
in 2001.
Hobbies: Joel enjoys reading.
