Background: David
is 20 years old. Due to financial pressures his parents
separated and he was forced to find a job. He was employed
in Ruiri as a herdsboy. His mother found employment
as a babysitter. They were both grossly underpaid.
He left herding and moved around from place to place.
He was at one time sent to an approved school for juvenile
delinquents where he escaped due to the harsh treatment
he received. He later returned home to find that his
mother had passed away. His mother’s death made an immense impact on David. He turned to God and his behavior has completely turned around. He had been on the street for seven years. He is now totally rehabilitated and is one of the most mature children in the Home.
Education: He is currently in 11th grade at Nkuene Boy's School. He started school
in 2001.
David’s excellent academic performance allowed him to skip class 3.
Hobbies: His hobbies include playing soccer and creative games.
