Background: Ashu is 15 years
old. She originally lived in the Majengo slums with
her family. After the death of her parents, she was
left to live with her incapacitated grandparents. A
good Samaritan gave the grandparents somewhere to stay,
but they couldn’t care for the children. Ashu went to the streets to seek solace.
Education: Ashu is currently in the 8th grade at
Mwithumwiru Primary School.
