Background: Alice, 17, is sister to Samuel Kimathi of MCK Meru Children’s Home. Their mother separated with her first husband Peter Mwenda and remarried Anthony Safari. At home they lacked meals frequently and were poorly dressed. They lived in a small rental room. In the beginning, Alice never used to go to the streets to beg for food. She would quietly stay home without food. Later on she joined her brothers for the feeding program at M.C.K. Kaaga Church before admission to this centre along with her cousins at the Home, Mark Mwenda, Kevin Mwiti, James Gikundi & Joel Mutembei.
Education: Alice is currently in the 10th grade at Yururu Girl's School.
Hobbies: Her hobbies include singing, reading and working in the home.
